About TTC · Certifications

Certified by ATSSA

The American Traffic Safety Services Association (ATSSA) sets the national standard for work zone training and certification. Our team holds three ATSSA certifications.

ATSSA · TCS

Traffic Control Supervisor

Our supervisors are trained to set up, inspect and manage work zones in the field, and to make the call when conditions change.

ATSSA · TCDS

Traffic Control Design Specialist

We design traffic control plans in house. That means plans that fit the site and setups that match the plan.

ATSSA · CERTIFIED FLAGGER

Certified Flagger

Our flaggers are trained in proper signaling, positioning and communication to move traffic safely through the work zone.

Standards we follow

ATSSA certifies our people. The MUTCD governs our setups.

Every work zone we install follows Part 6 of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD), the national standard for temporary traffic control, along with the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s (TDOT) standard traffic control drawings and work zone requirements.

About us

A Tennessee company, ready to work.

TTC was started by people who come from site work and utility construction, so we know what a crew needs from its traffic control: a setup that is on time, done right and doesn’t slow the job down.

We own our equipment, we train our people, and we answer our phone.
